A bike rider had a miraculous escape after a speeding tipper truck collided with his motorcycle and ran over it in Bengaluru’s Jakkur.
The incident occurred at MCECHS Layout in Jakkur on Friday (August 28) around 10.45 a.m. and was captured on CCTV.
The rider, identified as Sachin Shetty, was riding his motorcycle when the tipper, allegedly driven by Mahesh, hit him. The impact threw the rider onto the road, following which the tipper ran over his bike.
Fortunately, Sachin had fallen away from the motorcycle and escaped with only minor injuries.
The Hebbal Traffic Police have taken tipper driver Mahesh into custody and are investigating the incident.
