A conclave of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and startups will be held in the city on Friday.
Organised by the Mangaluru Productivity Council and Rotary Club of Mangaluru Central, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP, will inaugurate it at Red Cross Prerana Hall, opposite Taj Vivanta Hotel, Old Port Road, at 9.30 a.m.
Addressing press persons here on Wednesday, conclave director S.S. Nayak said that over 400 entrepreneurs and startups are expected to participate in the conclave.
He said the conclave aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, banks, and ecosystem stakeholders to promote MSMEs and startups in technology, trade, e-commerce, tourism, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Mr. Nayak said there will be six sessions conducted by experts on CIBIL score issues, government subsidies, credit facilities from banks, and the fisheries, agriculture, dairying, animal husbandry, and food processing sectors. Awards will be presented to exemplary MSME achievers in the evening in the presence of Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Dakshina Kannada MP.
The registration fee is ₹1,500 for general participants and ₹1,000 for students, he said.
