Dev Sharma reveals why he was rejected as Lakshman in ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Adipurush’

Actor Dev Sharma, who now plays Lord Ram in 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha', has opened up about being turned down for the role of Lakshman in both 'Adipurush' and Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana'.

As per mid-day, Sharma revealed that height and physique differences with the actors playing Ram cost him both roles, a rejection he initially took as a sign his connection to the epic wasn't meant to be, before eventually landing his current part.
