‘Other Mommy’ leads weekend box office numbers, while ‘The Social Reckoning’ tanks

The horror film ‘Other Mommy’ topped the weekend box office with $45.1 million globally, significantly outperforming ‘The Social Reckoning.’ The latter, a legal drama, managed only $9 million worldwide, falling short of expectations.

While ‘Other Mommy’ saw strong numbers in the US and Canada, ‘The Social Reckoning’ opened weakly.

Starring Jessica Chastain, ‘Other Mommy’ explores the struggles of a working mother against a menacing entity.
