$150m gift nearly doubles Dartmouth’s zero-parent-contribution income threshold

In 2024, Dartmouth College announced a scholarship bequest of more than $150 million from former Time Warner Cable CEO Glenn Britt and his wife, Barbara Britt.

The gift raised the annual family income threshold for zero parent contribution from $65,000 to $125,000, benefiting around 350 families each year.

It also expanded scholarship support at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
