Ayyasamy, the tahsildar of Guziliamparai in Dindigul district, issued the order on August 18 and directed officials to submit the details by the evening, failing which action would be taken; later, the Dindigul Collector issued an official note stating the Tahsildar’s order was being “immediately withdrawn”
