The Telangana High Court dismissed an appeal filed by Patanjali Foods Limited challenging a single judge order upholding decision of the authorities cancelling the company’s factory zone in Suryapet district.

A bench of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin said the appellant failed to discharge its contractual obligations under the second Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by not setting up the processing unit within the stipulated period. The bench held that the single judge correctly appreciated both the factual and legal aspects of the matter. The judge righty declined to interfere with the impugned government order cancelling the factory zone, the verdict said.
