ABVP protests Umar Khalid documentary screening at NLSIU
The National Law School of India University became the site of a protest by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, who opposed an upcoming documentary about activist Umar Khalid, currently in prison.
The group voiced concerns over the documentary's potential influence on campus culture and called for the cancellation of the event, which was timed to align with Political Prisoners Day.
The university had not yet reached a conclusion about the screening.
