Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu has invited West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to attend the Vijayawada Utsav-2.0 to be organised from October 11 to 20.

Mr. Rammohan Naidu met Mr. Adhikari at Nabanna Sabhaghar at the State Secretariat in Kolkata on Monday and handed him an invitation to the Vijayawada Utsav and the Devi Sharannavaratri festivities.

The Union Minister explained that the 10-day Vijayawada Utsav would feature spiritual, cultural, artistic and entertainment programmes, besides a mega carnival, cultural performances by artistes from different States and other events.

He said the Vijayawada Utsav was being organised under the theme, ‘One City – One Celebration’, to showcase Vijayawada’s spiritual and cultural heritage at the national level.

Mr. Rammohan Naidu requested Mr. Adhikari to attend the festival and experience the city’s cultural and spiritual traditions. Mr. Adhikari accepted the invitation and assured the Union Minister that he would attend the event.
