Kentucky county turns 225-acre golf course into major public park, 70% stays green

A Kentucky county closed its 225-acre Fox Run Golf Course after it averaged just 9,000 to 10,000 rounds annually.

Now, the former golf property is being transformed into a major public park featuring trails, climbing areas, biking facilities, water features and family spaces.

Around 70% of the site will remain preserved as natural greenspace for future generations.
