‘Definitely a shortage’: India’s Chef de Mission admits crisis, reveals additional rooms booked

India's Chef de Mission acknowledged the struggle with accommodation shortages at the Asian Games.

Following a reduction in their allocated rooms, the Indian contingent successfully secured more hotel spaces.

Additionally, challenges arose from transport and accreditation logistics, which compounded the difficulties.

An unexpected delay also affected the flag-hoisting ceremony, but India's focus continues to be on ensuring the comfort and performance of its athletes throughout the Games.
