Buddhi Clinic, in association with The Hindu, will organise a webinar on ‘The Future of Integrative Mental Health’, exploring the evolving landscape of integrated mental healthcare in India with a focus on the growing need to bring together mainstream medical practice and evidence-based traditional and complementary approaches.
The discussion will examine how interventions like Yoga, Naturopathy, and Ayurveda can be integrated into the existing framework for mental health, neurological, and psychiatric disorders. It will focus on policy-level discussions on the development of integrative mental health as a speciality in India, the role of policymakers and institutions in shaping this emerging field, and the way forward towards a more holistic, accessible, and evidence-based model of mental healthcare.
The speakers are Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy, behavioural neurologist, neuropsychiatrist, and founder of Buddhi Clinic, B.N. Gangadhar, distinguished scientist, AYUSH, and Shivarama Varambally, professor, department of psychiatry, NIMHANS. The webinar will be held at 5 p.m. on August 21 and will be moderated by Soma Basu, journalist. Those interested may register on https://newsth.live/THBCE.
