‘12 12 12’ teaser: Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan star in Apple TV’s new crime thriller series

Apple TV has unveiled the first teaser for 12 12 12 , its upcoming crime thriller series starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. Created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, the eight-episode series follows an elaborate heist planned across Europe and is set to premiere globally on Apple TV on November 13, 2026.

Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent who becomes involved in the hunt for Dornan’s character, an American career criminal and mastermind behind an audacious robbery. Their pursuit unfolds across Europe and ultimately leads to a raid on a bank vault buried beneath the streets of Zurich.

The title refers to the series’ unusual structure. The story unfolds across three stages of the same operation: the 12 months spent planning the heist, the 12 hours during which it is carried out and the 12 days spent evading the authorities afterwards. The format allows the series to move between preparation, execution and fallout as the consequences of the robbery emerge.

12 12 12 reunites Mackie and Dornan, who previously appeared together in the 2019 science-fiction thriller Synchronic . The ensemble also includes Jack Kesy, True Detective: Night Country star Kali Reis, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson. Kari Skogland, who previously directed Mackie in Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier , directed the pilot and serves as an executive producer.

The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content, with Mackie and Dornan also serving as executive producers alongside Appleton, Keeble and Skogland. The first two episodes will premiere on November 13, followed by one episode each Friday through the eight-episode finale on December 25.
