She revived her boyfriend twice after they were struck by lightning; a year later, they are married

During a hiking trip, Eva Broderick's quick thinking saved her boyfriend Nick's life after they were both struck by lightning.

Stranded in an isolated area, they faced delays as rescuers searched for them without precise location data.

After their recovery, Nick's heartfelt proposal led to their wedding nearly a year later in August.

Eva's heroic actions highlight the life-saving potential of CPR knowledge in unpredictable outdoor situations.
