A separate ward has been set up at the Thanjavur Medical College and Hospital to treat dengue cases. According to official sources, 20 beds with mosquito net covers have been provided in this ward, which will be monitored by a special medical team formed to treat patients with dengue fever. At present, a patient from Pudukottai district is undergoing treatment at this ward and his condition was stable, sources added.
