Amazon lays off 150 employees at Northern California offices, exit date by October 20

Amazon is eliminating approximately 150 roles across its Northern California locations.

These job losses include 78 positions at its San Francisco Bush Street site.

Seventy roles are also being cut from the company's Sunnyvale office.

This follows widespread corporate downsizing across Amazon's white-collar workforce.

Other tech firms like Synopsys are also trimming their employee numbers.
