Angered over the delay in getting the juice he had ordered at a bakery, S. Isakkipandi (26) hurled a Molotov cocktail at the entrance of the bakery in Koomapatti on Thursday.
The police said that on Thursday afternoon Isakkipandi had picked up a quarrel with a bakery worker for the delay in getting juice.
However, he returned to the bakery at night and again started to quarrel with the workers. Suddenly, he pulled out a bottle filled with petrol and threw it at the shop after lighting it.
Though some paper boxes kept at the bakery were destroyed by the fire, no one was injured in the incident.
Koomapatti police rushed to the spot, registered a case and arrested him.
