South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that four of its kabaddi players have been selected to represent India at the 20th Asian Games, scheduled to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The multi-sport event will feature competitions in 43 sports and bring together elite athletes from 45 Asian countries.

Among the selected players are Ritu Negi, office superintendent at Electric Loco Shed, Lallaguda, and Pinky Roy, senior technician in the Chief Workshop Manager’s Office (Signal & Telecommunication), Mettuguda, who have been picked for the Indian women’s kabaddi team.

For the Indian men’s squad, Ayan Lohchab and Sumit Sangwan, commercial ticket clerks, both working in the Divisional Commercial Manager’s office at Secunderabad, have been selected.

The four players will be part of the respective 12-member Indian men’s and women’s kabaddi teams that will compete at the Tokai Citizens Gymnasium in Tokai, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, said a press release on Monday.
