The Hindu in School Quiz 2026 will be held at NGP Kalaiarangam on the Dr. NGP College campus on Kalapatti Road in Coimbatore on October 8.
The annual inter-school quiz, which witnessed participation from more than 100 schools last year, will have two categories — Junior for students of Classes VII to IX and Senior for students of Classes X to XII.
Schools can nominate teams for the competition. Each team should comprise two students from the same category and the same branch of the school. A school can nominate a maximum of five teams in each category.
Member schools of The Hindu Group can register free of cost, while other schools will have to pay a registration fee of ₹500 per team. Registrations can be made through tinyurl.com/THiSQuiz2026 or by scanning the QR code provided.
The quiz will begin with a written preliminary round. The top six teams in each category will qualify for the on-stage finale, with a maximum of two teams from a school eligible to compete in the finale. Interactive audience rounds will also be held as part of the event.
NGP Educational Institutions is the title sponsor of the 2026 edition. The quiz will be hosted by A. Praveenjayaraj, founder and CEO of Multiverse Quizzing.
All participants will receive certificates, while prizes will be awarded to the winners. Schools from Coimbatore and neighbouring districts are expected to participate.
For registration-related assistance, schools can contact M. Karthic Shoban on 9791655522 or K. Gowrishankar on 9952133266, or email [email protected].
