Tamil Nadu Home Secretary K. Manivasan has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Land Administration in the rank of Additional Chief Secretary.
Dr. Manivasan was appointed Home Secretary by the Election Commission ahead of the Assembly election. He held the portfolios of Home, Excise and Prohibition.
He has been replaced by A. Karthik, Chairman and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation (TANSIDCO).
Rajesh Lakhoni, Commissioner of Land Administration, has been posted as Chairman and Managing Director of TNEB and the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
In another key transfer, V. Arun Roy, Chairman and Managing Director of TNEB and the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, besides heading the State’s green energy, transmission and power generation corporations, has been posted as Secretary, Finance (Expenditure). He succeeds N. Venkatesh.
Mr. Venkatesh has been appointed Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary to the Agriculture – Farmers Welfare Department, portfolios additionally held by Dr. N. Subbaiyan.
