Four volunteers of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) from Telangana were detained by railway police and security personnel in Bhopal while travelling to New Delhi to participate in the party’s October 10 protest , the CJP alleged on Thursday, October 8 night.
According to the party, Stanley, Rangasai, Rajesh and Venky were travelling on a Delhi-bound train when security personnel boarded their coach during a scheduled halt in Bhopal and asked them to deboard. The party alleged that the four were subsequently placed under preventive detention.
The CJP described the detention as a restriction on the volunteers’ right to travel to Delhi and participate in a peaceful protest. It also sought details from the Bhopal railway and local police regarding the legal grounds for intercepting and detaining the four volunteers.
CJP founder and fonvenor Abhijeet Dipke took to X and criticised the detention. “CJP Telangana volunteers got detained from Bhopal. MP police detained them from the train. It couldn’t be more evident that Modi is a psychotic dictator,” he said.

It has further sought accountability from the Bhopal railway and police authorities and called for clarification on the legal basis for the detention of the four Telangana volunteers.
