PlayStation Pulse, Pulse Edge Wireless Headsets Announced With Planar Magnetic Drivers for PS5

Sony has announced the PlayStation Pulse and Pulse Edge Wireless Headsets as its latest audio accessories for PS5.

Both models feature custom planar magnetic drivers, PlayStation Link connectivity and AI-enhanced microphone noise rejection.

The Pulse Edge adds active noise cancellation, a detachable boom microphone, a carrying case and PS5 game audio and chat balance controls.

The PlayStation Pulse is scheduled to arrive in select markets during the 2026 holiday season, while the Pulse Edge will launch in early 2027.
