The Puducherry Book Festival was inaugurated at the Livelihood Resource Centre for marginalised people in Lawspet here on Thursday, much to the delight of bibliophiles.

Chief Minister N. Rangasamy inaugurated the fair. The book fair, being jointly organised by the Puducherry Book Centre and Bharathi Publications, will be open for 12 days till September 7. Over a lakh and more titles in a variety of genres, and over 100 stalls have been set up to cater to readers with varied interests.
