YouTuber Dhruv Rathee was detained by police in Gurugram ahead of a planned protest at Jantar Mantar against the Chief Election Commissioner.

Following his detention, a wider police crackdown led to further detentions, including CJP legal head Ratna Singh in Delhi.

Additionally, CJP members Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka were detained by police directly from their aircraft.
