A Canadian student expected to work four or five shifts a week to afford college

A dedicated student at Mohawk College has received a generous $20,000 Schulich Builders Scholarship, intended to alleviate her HVAC training costs.

This significant financial support will cover essential expenses such as tuition, tools, and living costs, enabling her to concentrate on her studies.

Through the Schulich Builders program, colleges across Canada aim to tackle the skilled trades workforce shortage by providing specialized training and valuable mentorship to students.
