Stablecoin Cross-Border Transactions Rise 78 Percent Despite Crypto Bear Market

Cross-border stablecoin transaction volumes rose 77.5 percent to $220.3 billion (roughly Rs.

21,13,779 crore) in the 12 months through June 2026, even as total crypto market capitalisation fell 37 percent to $2.1 trillion (roughly Rs.

2,01,49,500 crore).

Chainalysis attributed the growth to stablecoins being used for payments, supplier transactions, remittances, and moving savings across currencies.
