Twenty-one former international cricket captains, including Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Greg Chappell, Arjuna Ranatunga, Clive Lloyd and Nasser Hussain, have appealed to the Pakistan government to ensure humane treatment and proper medical care for former Prime Minister and Pakistan cricket captain Imran Khan. They have called for an independent medical assessment by the Supreme Court-directed board, uninterrupted weekly family visits, and timely treatment based on the board’s recommendations.
