A site in Chester, previously contaminated with lead and asbestos, is undergoing remediation to enable new apartments.

Ochre from the Deerplay mine water treatment scheme is stabilising the contaminated soil on site.

This approach allows for the safe management of contaminants while preparing the area for redevelopment.

The project aims to construct 126 new apartments and support local regeneration efforts.
