Sri Lanka name new captain for Pak Tests! Ex-skipper de Silva retained in squad
Kusal Mendis will lead Sri Lanka in their upcoming Test series against Pakistan starting November 9.
Dhananjaya de Silva, the former captain, recently stepped down to make way for new leadership.
Pathum Nissanka's inclusion in the squad is dependent on his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained last month.
Notable inclusions are uncapped wicketkeeper-batter Anjala Bandara and left-arm fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka.
