Trade between Russia, India has increased this year — Putin
MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. Trade between Russia and India has increased this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted during a meeting at the Kremlin with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
"I am pleased to note that our trade has increased this year. It declined slightly last year, but it is growing this year," the Russian president said.
Putin stressed that the Indian foreign minister’s current visit to Moscow underscores the level of relations that Russia and India have built over decades. At the same time, he added, cooperation is underway in virtually all areas, including at the level of the two governments, parliaments, and businesses.
