Trump keeps Kiev concessions secret, says deal with Russia coming
UNITED NATIONS, September 22. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump declined to specify what concessions Kiev would have to make to end the Ukraine conflict but expressed confidence that a peace deal would be reached.
Speaking to reporters at the start of his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky in New York, Trump avoided directly answering a question about what concessions Ukraine would have to make. "Well, I think they're going to make a deal, and I don't want to say what the deal is. We talk about it a lot, including with President [of Russia Vladimir] Putin, and I think something's going to happen," Trump said.
The meeting with Zelensky took place on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
