Moscow says Latvia, Estonia tries to intimidate Russians who want to vote
MOSCOW, September 19. /TASS/. Russian citizens who want to vote in the State Duma elections are being intimidated in Latvia and Estonia, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Vesti.
"Of course, we can and should talk about the outright intimidation of our compatriots in their desire to vote, in particular, this is happening directly in Latvia and Estonia," she said.
"For example, why am I bringing up these countries? Because there, the police check and record the documents of any person who tries to enter the Russian embassy, literally conducting a census.".
