Russian diplomat sees EU sponsoring Ukraine’s strategy toward humanitarian crisis

MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. Ukraine’s military strategy boils down to causing a humanitarian disaster at the EU’s expense, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik told TASS.

"This hinges on causing a humanitarian crisis manually. Unfortunately, we can witness that - [in] the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, part of the DPR and the LPR, and certain areas in the Belgorod Region. It is a strategy that has been actively used by Ukraine <…>," the diplomat said. "And the high-tech achievements of the defense industry are being actively sponsored by the West, by Europe," he added.
