'4 piece' Lidl set like £58 B&Q and £80 Tesco in new £20 deal in stores on Sunday

People looking to give their homes a "modern" edge might be fans of a new furniture set joining Lidl's iconic Middle Aisle this Sunday. The supermarket brand, usually renowned for its affordable grocery offering, continues to grow its Home range with a host of pieces that are said to add versatility to spaces.

The LIVARNO Side Table Set , which comes in a set of four, will be available across all of the over 1,000 Lidl stores nationwide for £19.99 from September 27. It is for in-store collection only, however, so shoppers hoping for home delivery will be disappointed.

At a glance, the tables have a very simple but modern design, boasting a black aesthetic that could possibly fit plenty of home décor schemes. Plus, each table is a different size so it's likely buyers will be able to find a place for them somewhere in the home.

Describing the product, Lidl said: "In a modern design, versatile, in 4 different sizes. Metal frame with floor friendly feet. Max load: 10kg each, 3 year warranty."

Shoppers hoping to find out more are advised to head to the Lidl website . To avoid a wasted trip, make sure to check stock levels at your nearest location using the online store finder.

All you have to do is enter your postcode and a list of your local Lidl branches will appear. Stock indicators will indicate which one has the table in stock.

It could be considered a budget alternative to the vidaXL Side Tables at B&Q. Available for £57.99, it comes in a set of two and has an almost identical dark black design.

"Looking for something more refined and compelling in your living space," reads the product description on the B&Q website . "The sleek and durable side table is an optimal choice for you!

"Made of steel, the construction of the couch table is sturdy and durable, ensuring years of service. Its stable table top provides a secure surface, on which you can place drinks, vases, fruit bowls or other necessities you need within reach. Additionally, the table is easy to clean with a damp cloth."

For a more premium and high-end option, Tesco has the Seaford Nest of Tables in Ash Black for £79.99. Tesco explained: "Discover the practical elegance of our square nest of tables, featuring ash black tops and matte black steel bases. This set of two seamlessly combines form and function for your living space."

While this particular option is much bigger in size given they're marketed solely as tables, they have a basically identical design. But there is a much bigger difference both alternatives have to the Lidl option - home delivery straight to your front door. Vist the Tesco and B&Q websites for further details.
