Queen Elizabeth's best pal's 'comeback plan' after brutal ousting following Harry war

The late Queen's closest confidant is planning a jaw-dropping move after being shunned from royal life, it's been claimed.

As her personal dresser, Angela Kelly designed many of Queen Elizabeth II's most memorable outfits. But that was just the tip of the iceberg - their close bond saw Angela gain unparallelled influence over the royal household.

She was the late Queen's most trusted member of staff, known as 'the gatekeeper' behind Palace walls. So close were the two women that the Queen said they 'could have been sisters'.

But in a swift change of fortune, Angela had to leave her grace-and-favour Windsor home when Charles took the throne, and was reportedly banned from spilling any more royal secrets.

The former aide, a crane driver's daughter from Liverpool, had "extraordinary permission" to release two books about life behind the Buckingham Palace walls. But Charles is said to have put a halt on any more exposes.

It was believed Angela was going to be allowed to stay at her grace-and-favour home in Windsor after the Queen's death but in April 2023 she appeared to confirm this was not the case. She took to Instagram to say she would be leaving a property on the Windsor estate and also seemed to confirm that her work phone had been disconnected.

Reports later suggested that her new £465,000 bungalow in Yorkshire had actually been arranged for her by the King and would revert to the Crown upon her death. However, it has been claimed that the King has banned Ms Kelly from sharing royal secrets in exchange for her new place. It is understood that she had permission from the late Queen to pen a third book, but the new agreement has likely scuppered those plans.

But now Angela appears to have found another way to share her story. She has reportedly agreed to take part in a film about her life, potentially causing another headache for the Royal Family.

Known for her fiesty character, which saw her nicknamed 'AK47', the 'scripted documentary' is rumoured to contain interviews, archive footage and potentially some dramatic reconstruction. What she chooses to share on camera could come as a huge concern to the King, sources have told the Mail.

Producers are said to be working with Bafta-winning screenwriter Jeremy Brock MBE, who wrote Mrs Brown, the Queen Victoria film starring Judi Dench and Billy Connolly.

The company promotes itself as 'trusted by royalty' and makes documentaries under the True Royalty Originals brand. It is closely associated with the True Royalty TV streaming service, and there are speculations she could be a big interest in the US.

Reports suggest that Angela has signed a confidentiality agreement which allegedly bans the use of the words 'King' and 'Palace' for commercial purposes. But a source told the Mail: "The royals will be worried, and they are right to be worried.

"She knows everything you ever wanted to know, including the Queen's real views on Meghan. I don't think the Palace has a leg to stand on if she wants to tell her story. If Harry and Meghan can break all the rules, why can't she? Angela has often spoken about wanting to spend time in the US, and she could do just that.
