Taylor Swift donates $50,000 to help mother hit by car
Taylor Swift has donated to a mother who was hit by a car while trying to help someone else.

According to the fundraising page, Taunton saw someone in need after a car accident and pulled over during a heavy rainstorm to help.
As her husband, Joe, writes, it was “Ashley doing Ashley things”.
While Taunton was assisting, another vehicle hydroplaned toward them, and Taunton pushed a person at the scene out of the way before being struck herself.
The GoFundMe says that Taunton is “now facing a very long and difficult road to recovery”, having already undergone two major surgeries with more scheduled in the days ahead.
Fans soon noticed that, in the comment section of the page, Swift had left a message for Taunton and her family, alongside her donation, that read: “Wishing you the best recovery possible and sending love to your family!” Taunton has since responded, saying she is “sobbing with so much gratitude”.
