Brighton vs Arsenal LIVE: Premier League match stream, latest score, goal updates and fan reaction

LIVE: Brighton vs Arsenal PA Tashan Deniran-Alleyne | Matt Verri , Football Reporter at Amex Stadium 1 minute ago Brighton vs Arsenal LIVE!

Arsenal continue a run of successive away games today, facing Brighton in their last Premier League fixture before the first international break of the season. The Gunners have beaten Napoli, Sunderland and Ipswich across three different competitions in the past 10 days and are out to record an eighth straight win.

Mikel Arteta has, as expected, handed a recall to David Raya, Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz this afternoon after they were all rested for the Carabao Cup win in midweek. Jurrien Timber is fit enough to make his first start of the season but, Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera both miss out.

Fabian Hurzeler, meanwhile, has said he has no regrets over past Arsenal comments as he prepares to renew a feud with Arteta and his side should be in good spirits after thumping Coventry last weekend and then coming from 2-0 down at Old Trafford to dump Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup. Follow Brighton vs Arsenal LIVE below with Standard Sport's dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Matt Verri at the Amex Stadium.

7 min: Fingertip save from Raya to push Kostoulas’ effort behind for a corner after Guimaraes had given the ball away. Brazilian atones for his error with a crucial block inside the area.

This has been a ragged start from Arsenal. Raya passing it straight out, Konsa dribbling it along his own six-yard box and firing a pass at Gabriel.

4 min: Raya struggling with his distribution early on as he passes the ball straight out of play under no real pressure this time. Gets a glancing look from Odegaard.

2 min : A couple of nervy moments for both goalkeepers early on as they are rushed into clearances. First chance falls to Brighton as Calafiori’s clearance reaches Kadioglu who fires over.

The defending Premier League champions have lost twice at the Amex in each of the last two seasons.

This is the first Premier League fixture that Myles Lewis-Skelly has not started this season as he makes way for Arsenal summer signing Bruno Guimaraes.

As such, it’s Guimaraes, Rice and Odegaard for the Gunners this afternoon.
