‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’ beta to feature full campaign mission for first time in series

Call Of Duty fans taking part in the upcoming Modern Warfare 4 beta will get to play a full campaign mission, Activision has announced.

It’s part of a bumper couple of playtest weekends for Call of Duty fans awaiting the game’s release later this year.

In addition to the full campaign mission, entitled ‘Entrenched’, the first beta weekend for Modern Warfare 4 will feature five 6v6 multiplayer maps: Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette and Lotus.

The second beta weekend will feature even more multiplayer maps and multiplayer modes, Activision announced in an X post below.

The release will be preceded by the two beta weekends beginning this month (August). ‘Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’ campaign art.

CREDIT: Activision Between August 21 and 25, anyone who’s pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 for the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 or PC will be able to log onto the early access beta playtest.

The following weekend (August 28 to September 1) anyone will be able to play the game early, including Nintendo Switch 2 owners.
