Brilliant Beau wins back-to-back Women's Series titles

After missing out on Saturday's action, darting sensation Beau Greaves returns to the Women's Series with a bang as the Doncaster star wins back-to-back titles on Sunday to claim her 58th and 59th titles on the Women's Series circuit

Beau Greaves defeated Lisa Ashton and Aileen de Graaf on Sunday to close in on her 60th title on the Women's Series circuit.

Sunday's Women's Series double-header saw Events 19 and 20 take place at the Matiolli Arena, as Greaves returned to winning ways on the circuit after missing yesterday's action.

Greaves opened her account Sunday morning with three consecutive whitewash victories over Jane Hawtin, Sue Lowther and Vicky Pruim respectively,

The 22-year-old was almost denied a 58th Women's Series title, as she fought back from 3-2 down to beat Gemma Hayter to book her spot in the quarter-final stage.

Greaves raced into the semi-final, as she beat Aileen de Graaf 5-1 with an average of over 96, before booking her place in the Event 19 showpiece as she raced past Kirsty Hutchinson 5-2.

In a repeat bout of the 2025 Women's World Matchplay semi-final between 'Beau 'n' Arrow' and Lisa Ashton, it was Greaves' who came out victor in the final as she beat Ashton 5-3.

Despite dropping the opening leg in the final, Greaves responded with three legs of her own in quick succession to gain a two-leg advantage on Ashton, before sealing the victory with a brilliant 14-dart leg.

Greaves opened her Event 20 campaign in the same manner as she did earlier in the day, winning back-to-back matches in quick succession, beating Leanne Halls and Felicia Bay 4-0.

The Doncaster star - who only dropped three legs in the entire event - won consecutive matches 4-1 over Louise Pearson and Rhian O'Sullivan respectively, before dispatching Angela Kirkwood 5-0 to seal her spot in the final four.

There, she raced into the final, as Greaves beat Karolina Ratajska 5-1, opening her account in that match with a brilliant 11-dart leg.

De Graaf's below-par performance in the final meant that Greaves was victorious once again and claimed her 59th Women's Series, averaging upwards of 91 and whitewashing the Dutchwoman.

Greaves remains on top of the Women's Series rankings, with Ashton and Sherrock solidifying their positions in second and third respectively, as Hayter sits just behind the pair in fourth spot and in the final qualification spot for the 2026/27 World Darts Championship.

The top three players from the final PDC Women's Series rankings will qualify to compete in the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, with the top-ranked player also qualifying for the 2026 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts.
