Body of woman found at popular spot for dog walkers in Scotland
The body of a woman has been found at a popular dog walking spot in Erskine.
Police were called to Boden Boo in Erskine, Renfrewshire, at around 6.45pm on Sunday following reports of a body being discovered.
The woodland and riverside area on the River Clyde is a popular destination for walkers and dog owners. Police Scotland said the woman’s next of kin are aware.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.45pm on Sunday, 20 September, 2026, officers were called to the Boden Boo area of Erskine following the death of a woman.
“Her next of kin are aware. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
