Bruno Fernandes disclosure about Man Utd training says it all about Marcus Rashford
Bruno Fernandes has revealed that Marcus Rashford is among the earliest arrivals at Manchester United's training ground following his return to the club this summer. The England forward had been widely expected to depart Old Trafford after a loan stint with Barcelona last season.
However, the La Liga giants opted against making the move permanent, choosing to sign Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon instead.
As a result, Rashford has been brought back into the first-team fold at United under Michael Carrick for the 2026/27 campaign.
While he may not have hit the ground running in front of goal, the United academy product has caught Carrick's eye, and Fernandes has shed light on Rashford's attitude since his return to the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports , Fernandes said: "Normally, always Diogo [Dalot]. He's always here first. This season, also Rashy, and Ben [Sesko], are normally the ones that arrive early. Together with me.
"But obviously it depends. Because I sometimes like to drop my kids at school, so sometimes I get in even earlier because they are [at] school at 8:20 or 8:30.
"So, I come straight away and I get here early. But normally Diogo is already here!"
Rashford has made a positive impression on those at Carrington since his comeback, with head coach Carrick particularly taken by the forward.
Speaking following the 4-0 victory over Sabah in the Champions League , Carrick said: "Really pleased with Marcus. Really pleased with him, so many ways. I think it's pretty obvious with his performances.
"Again, he was a real threat on Sunday, unfortunate not to get a little bit more success, but he was a real threat. I'm not really sure what else to say. We're just really pleased to have him.
"He's doing a lot of things really well and settled back in really quickly. It was nice to keep Marcus fresh for the weekend."
Rashford will be hoping he can make an impact this weekend with United gearing up to take on rivals Manchester City in the Manchester derby this weekend.
