Missing Lillia: Girl, 13, from Bolton found safe after eight days of searching
A 13-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a week has been found "safe and well" in Manchester city centre, police said.
Lillia Lloyd Walton was reported missing by her family on September 11 (Friday) after leaving her family home in Bolton.
In a statement on Saturday night (September 19), Greater Manchester Police said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our missing appeal for 13-year-old Lillia, who has been missing since Friday 11 September 2026.
"We can confirm that she has been found safe and well in the city centre. She is currently with our officers, and her next-of-kin have been informed of this update. We will release more information in due course."
GMP revealed earlier on Saturday a new confirmed sighting of Lillia. The teenager was seen on CCTV at Manchester Piccadilly bus station at 10.36am on Monday (September 14).
Officers from the force's dedicated CCTV unit combed through hours of footage, distributed hundreds of missing person leaflets, issued social media appeals and worked with media outlets, the force said.
