Roberto De Zerbi faces his first cup match of the season tonight as Tottenham host Charlton in the second round of the Carabao Cup . The Italian is under a bit of pressure to get it right today after his new-look Spurs stumbled in their Premier League opener, suffering a 3-0 humbling away at Brentford. It has been a summer of uncharacteristically heavy investment for Spurs, and this fixture against Charlton should give them a good chance to get minutes and the legs and continue building relationships.

There could be a debut for Savio, the latest arrival in north London, after his transfer from Manchester City was confirmed on Tuesday. He has been registered in time for this match, but it remains to be seen whether he will get the chance to introduce himself to the Tottenham faithful.
