Nine men and three women aged between 19 and 61 arrested as part of investigation of events leading to deadly collision Nine men and three women, aged between 19 and 61, have been arrested by officers investigating events leading to a crash on the A66 in which PC Matthew Blades and PC Tom Clough and five other people died, Cleveland police said.
Some of those arrested as part of the investigation are suspected of “participating in the activities of an organised crime group”, Cleveland police said, adding that four of those killed in the car which hit the police vehicle had previous convictions.
