Ben Affleck has revealed that he still plays online first-person shooter games, and occasionally gets into heated arguments with younger gamers.

In a new interview with Jason and Travis Kelce on their New Heights podcast, Affleck revealed that he’s always playing video games, including Fortnite and EA Sports Madden NFL and NFL 2K with his son.

“I [also] play first person shooter games.

I think I’m good and then 12-year-olds just fuck me up,” he said.

“I try to come out and I’m like, ‘Here I come’ [but] I get killed right away.

Then they taunt you [and] I end up getting in arguments. ‘Fuck you! I don’t suck! I’m a grown man!’” He went on to call out “bullshit” Fortnite skins that set you back real world money.

He then revealed that his current movie Animals takes inspiration from those same skins for the mysterious kidnapper, who wears a giant rabbit mask.

“I thought these costumes are so kind of random and unusual, that’s what I based the costumes on,” said Affleck.

“[In the movie] I thought he’d be getting them off games .” Political thriller Animals is out today (October 9) on Netflix.

Affleck has said he has no interest in real world politics after starring in Animals .

“The way it’s constructed now is so geared around money, sound bites, cruelties and gotchas, and little snarky things that really have nothing to do with people’s lives whatsoever,” he said in an interview with USA Today .
