Asked whether Kardashian, whose reality TV show The Kardashians Appleton has appeared on, would be in the audience during the show, he told the Press Association: “Who knows? Watch this space, but I don’t know, anything could happen.
“I think being in Strictly, I’ve realised anything is possible and magic happens.

“She’s obviously fantastic at what she does, but obviously I know Kim personally, and she’s just always been so kind, and she sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was just so kind of her to do, she didn’t have to.
“And she said, ‘break a leg’, and just commenting on my post when I did it, and that’s so nice of her to support me because she’s always been so supportive.
“But to do that, which is going above and beyond, it just says so much about who she is, she’s an amazing person.
“Like I say, she’s always been so supportive, I’m very lucky to work with her, and she’s my hair muse, she’s always been my girl.”
Appleton will return to Strictly in Saturday’s first live show on BBC One and iPlayer at 6.15pm.
