The summer window is firmly in the rearview mirror, but Premier League clubs remain active in the transfer market with Arsenal , Chelsea , Manchester United , Liverpool and Tottenham continuing to explore potential deals ahead of January. Arsenal have announced an agreement to sign Andria Bartishvili - who has been dubbed as the next Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - and remain interested in Julian Alvarez and Eli Junior Kroupi, while also monitoring Nico Paz and Kenan Yildiz.

Chelsea will be on the market for a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, but Lamine Camara may not be their first port of call, despite the collapse of a Deadline Day deal. Marc Bernal and Manu Kone have been linked, amid ongoing interest in Bournemouth's Alex Scott. Liverpool could be the destination for Camara, while the Reds remain keen on Adam Wharton and Aleksandar Stankovic as Bayern Munich sniff around Florian Wirtz.

Man United are ready to end their interest in Lewis Hall, with Adrien Truffert now of interest as Barcelona decide it's time to sell former Utd targer Alejandro Balde. Tottenham are having trouble offloading Richarlison after a move back to Brazil failed to materalise before last Friday's deadline, but are closing in on Piero Ausilio as their new sporting director. Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit is not mincing his words regarding the failed pursuit of Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior.

Speaking to BOYLE Sports, who offer the latest Premier League odds, Petit said: “Mikel Arteta has been rebuilding Arsenal step by step and I really liked the way they worked on the transfer market this summer, bringing some players in and trying to make the squad as competitive as possible. It was like watching them create a painting.

"I think Vinicius Jnr is a really talented player but in terms of his mentality I am not sure he is a good fit for Arsenal. That’s just my opinion.

"I see so many humble players at Arsenal so if you all of a sudden bring in someone who is completely different, it can be a problem, especially with Arteta’s style of management.

"Look at what happened between Vinicius Jnr and Jose Mourinho in the last game between Real Betis and Real Madrid. It reminded me of what happened with Xabi Alonso last season when he didn’t want to shake his hand.

"Vinicius Jnr receives so much stick from the fans, the press and social media but in those moments he is sending the wrong message.
