A huge police cordon is in place in Edgware Road, north-west London , with the Tube station on the street closed as emergency services deal with a serious incident.

Videos shared on social media show multiple police vehicles and other emergency crews outside the underground station , while part of the street has been closed off.

Transport for London (TfL) says on its website: "This station is closed while police respond to an incident. Tickets are being accepted on London Buses."
