Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘Cameron Winter At Carnegie Hall’ concert film announced

Paul Thomas Anderson ‘s new concert film Cameron Winter At Carnegie Hall has been announced, capturing the Geese frontman live in New York.

READ MORE: Cameron Winter live in London: Geese star soars with the voice of a future great The acclaimed Oscar-winning director, known for One Battle After Another , There Will Be Blood and Phantom Thread , shot the film on 35mm and 16mm during Winter ‘s show at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium on December 11, 2025.

The film captures Winter’s one-off show at the iconic New York City venue, which followed Geese’s months-long tour of North America, and it saw him perform a set drawn largely from piano-led versions of songs from his 2024 solo album ‘ Heavy Metal ‘.

The film will be screened across the continent later this year, with tickets set to go on sale on September 17 via the film’s website here .

Ariel Rechtshaid recorded, produced and mixed the performance for the album, and has also produced the music for the film.

Fans spotted Anderson filming the show on the night , with audience footage showing him operating a camera during ‘Nina + Field Of Cops’.

Benny Safdie, who is a producer on the film, was also seen assisting Anderson, while an additional camera reportedly ran from the balcony throughout the concert.

Anderson has previously directed music videos for Radiohead , The Smile and Haim , while his most recent film One Battle After Another was the major winner at this year’s Oscars , taking home Best Picture and Best Director.
