Sid Wilson acknowledges his exit from Slipknot

Sid Wilson has acknowledged his exit from Slipknot after nearly 30 years together.

The statement remains posted on the official Instagram account for Knotfest, the festival created by the band in 2012 .

“Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson,” the post read.

“We wish him the best in his future endeavors.” Wilson was known as No.

0 and served as their keyboardist and turntablist, joining them in 1998, just before the Iowa-founded group had their mainstream breakthrough with their self-titled debut.
